Supershort and sweet Filmmaking Workshop

A 'hands on' workshop is organised for Saturday 30 July and Monday 1 August 2011. This is open to high school students who want to learn more about making a short film. Production and post production skills in areas such as scripting, filming, sound, non-linear editing and digital formatting will be covered.

The size of the class is limited so be quick in getting in your application.

Random House Australia Supershort Book Trailer

In association with the Robin Anderson Film Awards, Random House Australia is running a Supershort digital film competition.
The brief is make a digital film 90 seconds long, relate the film to one of the book titles listed by Random House, demonstrate a keen use of technical skills and convey the idea clearly highlighting the conceptual conerns such as genre and use of narrative.
The prize is $1000 for the student who submitted the winning entry and $1000 dollars worth of Random House books for the school.

All entries automatically go into the running of the Supershort category of the Robin Anderson Film Awards.
